Mystery Craters - is a unique, fascination and interesting geological phenomenon as they are a series of craters in various sizes which have been discovered in a group on a rock formation which in itself is a puzzle. The gardens surrounding the craters host a replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaur.

Mon Repos Turtle Rookery - is the largest and most accessible Loggerhead Turtle Rookery on the Australian Mainland. Each year from November to March, turtles come ashore and nest, followed six to eight weeks later by the emergence of baby 'hatchling' from their sandy nests.

The Southern Great Barrier Reef - is your first jumping off point travelling north to see one of the wonders of the natural world. Featuring the coral isles of Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliot Island.

TopHervey Bay

Hervey Bay has beautiful beaches, calm stinger-free waters and, from late July to early November, the best whale-watching experience found anywhere in the Australia. Bordered by 40 kilometres of pristine beaches, Hervey Bay offers access to islands, adventure, wildlife and a beautiful safe aquatic playground for visitors to the Fraser Coast.

Hervey Bay City, boasting one of the fastest growing populations in Australia, is renowned for its Whale Watching and as the gateway to World Heritage-listed Fraser Island. The foreshore of the City offers fourteen kilometres of shared pedestrian, wheelchair and bicycle pathways.

Scenic four wheel drive circuits and walking tracks take in some of the largest of the lakes, cool and peaceful rainforests of towering satinay and brush box trees, some over a thousand years old, contrast with swampy wetlands, heath lands full of wild flowers and coastal stands of Pandanus palms.
